This will reduce maximum performance but it can help keep your CPU from constantly thermal throttling We re-ran some benchmarks to ensure everything works as intended and checked the performance increase compared to the default settings The Intel Core i7-14700K is the middle processor of Intel's 14 th-generation Core K-SKU lineup. It's the second 14 th gen CPU I'm overclocking on this channel following the Core i9-14900K from a couple weeks ago.
5 Minute Overclock Core i714700K to 6200 MHz 5 Minute Overclock. I undervolt mine from .035 - .050mv Adaptive, depending on my mood, I also have an intel 14700K on Asus Z690 with a LS720 cooler but i have Team Group ARGB Ram at 4000MHzI allowed my temp limit to go up to 105 since motherboard manufacturers raised the cap for 14th gen chips all the way to 115My chip runs just fine going that high but with the .050mv it wont break mid 90s running Cinebench. Overclocking the Core i7-14700K is easy, thanks to its unlocked multiplier
Test Intel Core i714700K. Jedyny sensowny model 14. generacji ITHardware. This is very general, but for gaming specifically, the 12th gen K CPUs are a significant step down from 13th and 14th gen K CPUs (I believe that's primarily due to the cache changes), but that step is probably not going to be noticeable at 4K and even at 1080p or 1440p, I don't think I'd bother unless I was gaming in a CPU-bottlenecked situation (e.g I've never seen my CPU (i7 14700K) go higher than 99-100 Celcius and I only have a 2 fan rad (mind you I do have an open concept case, and my CPU has a contact frame with Noctua NT-H1 so results may vary)..
